As Rhona Cameron admitted on BBC1's 2002 TV Moments last Saturday, her appearance on ITV1's "reality TV" show, I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here - particularly her "Sometimes" speech - has jet- propelled her career. She has landed a gig presenting the ITV1 game show Russian Roulette on the back of it; but for now, she is returning to her first love: stand- up. A fine, spiky comic, Cameron boldly weaves elements of her own, sometimes turbulent, history into her act. She recalls the days when she wanted to break into showbiz and visited a fortune-teller: "He said, `You're going to earn your living in bars and clubs.' I thought, what as? A topless dancer?" Then a friend took her to see Jo Brand. "I said to myself, `I could do that. It's just someone complaining on stage, and I do that anyway.' "
