A GANG of roulette cheats who plotted to defraud casinos out of thousands of pounds have been sentenced in a landmark case.
Martin Kwong Lee, Martin Fitz and Shuhal Miah were all found guilty of "top hatting" - illegally dropping chips onto a gaming table once the ball has come to rest, by creating a distraction at a crucial moment.
In the first case of its kind in England the trio were convicted on charges of cheating at play.
None received jail sentences.
