Tony Hawk's Skateboard HHHHH
Dreamcast The world's premier skateboarding game is the latest title to be given a makeover courtesy of the Sega Dreamcast. Maintaining all the incredible stunts, fast-paced action and slick soundtrack from the original PlayStation title, there are very few significant changes. The graphics have greater depth and definition, but the control system has become slightly more complicated, due to Dreamcast's awkward control pads.

Aliens vs Predator Gold HHHHH
PC CD-ROM Although the first Aliens vs Predator title was superb, Fox felt the need to improve the game a little and thus launch the Gold Edition. In essence the same as the original game, the Gold Edition offers only a few new features - nine new game environments, new weapons for the Marine character, an in-game save option, and a slight tweaking of the game engine. Directed at those yet to experience AvsP.

Dino Crisis HHHHH
PC CD-ROM Virgin Interactive, pioneers in the action-thriller genre, are ready to unleash this adrenaline-filled title. The game resembles something like a "Resident Evil meets Jurassic Park", as players have to battle through level upon level of dinosaur-packed mayhem from an rd-person perspective. Although the game looks fantastic, the gameplay shows a lack of variation, and can become tiresome.

Midnight in Vegas HHHHH
PlayStation Ever wanted to bring the spirit of Las Vegas directly into your home? Well now you can, thanks to Midnight in Vegas, by 3DO. The obvious aim of the game is to gamble as little, or as much money as you want on various Vegas-themed activities - craps, roulette, and blackjack, to name but a few. The presentation is lifeless, and the gameplay is no more inspiring - more proof that gambling should stay in the casino.
