LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 12, 2002

Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ:SHFL) announced today that it will introduce new products in each of its existing business categories at the second annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas September 17th through 19th.

In the Company's shuffler segment, the Deck Mate(TM) Shuffler will be introduced. The Deck Mate is quieter and faster than traditional batch shufflers, has the ability to handle one or two decks, and can be in-table or flush mounted. This product is intended for use in poker rooms as well as for single and double deck blackjack, a growing segment of the blackjack market. Initial Deck Mate shipments are expected before the end of October.

The Company will broaden its growing table game franchise by introducing several new titles to add to its already popular Let it Ride(R) and Three Card Poker(R). New games include Triple Shot Bonus(TM), Crazy 4 Poker(TM) and High Five Poker(TM). In addition, three proprietary blackjack games will be shown; namely, Press Your Luck(TM) Blackjack, Single 21(TM) and Jack Magic(TM).

Shuffle Master will add a new title, Sydney Omarr's Horoscope Game, to its line of cooperative slot machines developed with IGT. This innovative 15 line, 5 reel game will add to the installed base of recurring revenue games.

The slot offerings on Shuffle Master's proprietary operating system include both reel and video games. The unique packaging for the much anticipated Budweiser(R) video slot game will be debuted along with games featuring the Marvel Entertainment characters Spider-Man(R) and The Incredible Hulk(TM).

Hollywood(TM), which recently received its first regulatory approvals, and Rubik's Cube(R), which was recently submitted for approvals, will be highlighted at G2E. The new Bigfoot(R) Monster Truck(R) game, Parlay Poker(TM), an innovative multi-play poker, the hilarious Laurel & Hardy(TM) video and several new reel games, including a Hollywood bonus game will also be featured at G2E.
