SmackDown!" may be the Rock's show, but today's "Judgment Day" will be the Undertaker's pay-per-view. Everything has been lined up so the Undertaker defeats Hulk Hogan to become the WWE champion once again.
There is no questioning how amazing Hogan's recent run has been, but it is clear the time has come for the Undertaker to win the title. I believe the only thing that could save Hogan is the fact he is bringing many older fans of the old WWF back to their TVs.
In addition to the world-title match on the show, HHH will face Chris Jericho in the WWE's most brutal match, the "Hell in the Cell." HHH claims to be the master of this match and, in fact, has ended careers in the past and aims to do it again tonight. Also, Kurt Angle will face Edge, Eddie Guerrero defends the Intercontinental Championship against Rob Van Dam, "Raw" owner Ric Flair teams with the Big Show in a handicap match against Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the Hardy Boyz once again face Brock Lesnar--but this time Lesnar will be teamed up with his manager and former ECW leader Paul Heyman.
Many have criticized WWE television since the roster split, but "Judgment Day" is an opportunity for the company to show how strong it is when at full strength.
