First came the defection of the group's most important member, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, followed by the release of Scott Hall. Now the n.W.o might have sustained a death blow by losing Kevin Nash to a leg injury.
In a few months, the group has been reduced to the Big Show, X- Pac and a former champion who no longer wrestles, Shawn Michaels. On the night Nash made his return, he fell to the canvas with the same injury suffered by HHH one year ago. Much like Hunter, Nash will be sidelined for 6-8 months.
After losing their No. 1 draw, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and their top star, the Rock (who despite coming back will be off to film another movie sooner than later), the WWE could not afford more injuries.
Expect Edge, Kurt Angle and RVD to get an increased pushes. One solution could be to put over the Big Show. For the first time in a few years, it might make him the devastating force he once was.
