He farmed initially in partnership with his brother Anthony "Birdie" and more recently with Keith King and Kelly King, along with his brother. He was an active member of St. Joseph's Church in Big Bend. He served many years as a fireman on the Big Bend Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid card player who enjoyed playing sheepshead with his family and friends and blackjack in the casino. He also enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Canada with his good friends. He leaves behind his best buddy, his golden retriever, Cedar. Jerome left this world doing what he loved best, on his farm with his truck at his side. Memorials for Masses would be appreciated.
