Brock Lesner has defeated Hulk Hogan and has taken the WWE title from the Rock, but he will face his biggest challenge next Sunday when he defends against the Big Show at "Survivor Series."
At more than 450 pounds, the Show presents a new challenge to Lesner, who has made a living by using brute force to have his way with his opponents. That clearly will not work, and if Lesner thinks he might be able to get the Big Show in the F5, he better start practicing on cattle.
Another hurdle for Lesner is the fact his relationship with Paul Heyman is deteriorating by the minute. Heyman is quick to point out he was the one who got Lesner in the "Royal Rumble," got Lesner his match with Hulk Hogan and arranged for the title match with the Rock at "SummerSlam." Thursday night on "SmackDown," Heyman pointed out that he was looking for some gratitude from Lesner, but what he could be getting is an F5 for his efforts.
With fans starting to support Lesner and reject the Big Show, it's safe to say Heyman's days with the Next Big Thing are numbered. The WWE could use a big name fans can get behind, and that could be Lesner.
