Kurt Angle realizes head-lining "WrestleMania" is an opportunity that does not come along all that often. Knowing that, Angle will put much more on the line come WM19 than just the World Heavyweight Championship--Angle may be putting his life on the line as well.
Angle is overdue for neck surgery in which he will have his vertebrae fused, an operation he is putting off to have his match with Brock Lesnar. Word is doctors feel Angle could be risking paralysis if he enters the ring at "WrestleMania," but they have told him if more than one vertebra needs to be fused, his career will be over, and Angle vs. Lesnar will be his last match.
If Angle is forced to retire, he will go down as one of the greatest wrestlers ever--and he will have done it in only a three- year career.
AROUND THE RING: Some wrestlers feel the WWE is returning to its old ways and is pushing only the physically big wrestlers. Some feel the Undertaker and Nathan Jones vs. Big Show and A-Train match at "WrestleMania" is based on size more than skill. ... Matches added to "WrestleMania" include Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio Jr., and a three- team tag match with Team Angle, Los Guerreros and Chris Benoit and Rhyno.
