Bill Goldberg has been a very busy man in his short time in the WWE. After defeating the Rock in his first match, it would make sense that Goldberg would be in line for a title shot against HHH, but the likes of Christian, Y2J and the 3-Minute Warning keep getting in his way.
To this point, Goldie has held his own in 4-on-1 battles, but the constant struggle is taking its toll. Help is on the way, though, as Monday night on "Raw," the former WCW and WWE tag-team champions the Road Warriors will return to the scene. Hawk and Animal are coming back to even up the odds against the 3-Minute Warning. And the Warriors won't be the only ones joining Goldberg, as it appears Stone Cold and Bill Gold will join forces against Eric Bischoff.
After the Monday night Beer-Bash went off the air, Bischoff made the mistake of entering the ring to confront the two new friends. Eric was greeted with a Goldberg JackHammer, and the drinking continued. Bad news for Goldberg was that while executing his finishing maneuver, he slipped on some of what seemed like hundreds of beers being consumed in the ring and jammed his wrist. Goldberg won't miss any time, but he needs to be more careful when pounding the suds with Stone Cold.
AROUND THE RING: The Ultimo Dragon confirmed he will make his WWE debut at the "Judgment Day" PPV. While in WCW, Dragon had an arm operation botched and was told he never would wrestle again, so there will be great interest in his first match back. Word is Rey Mysterio Jr. will be a partner or opponent. ... Sounds like the Rock will be back sooner than the WWE thought, and now should return around Thanksgiving. ... Many in the WWE were concerned over the fans' reaction to the HHH/Kevin Nash angle on "Raw" last week, and now are worried the "Judgment Day" title match could be a flop.
