Chicago Sun-Times: 5-man tag match tops Survivor bill

With no clear-cut No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's world title on the SmackDown" roster, new WWE general manager Paul Heyman has decided to follow predecessor Eric Bischoff's lead and schedule a traditional tag-team elimination match at Survivor Series.

Team Lesnar will feature Lesnar, the Big Show, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan and a wrestler to be named later. The scary thing about this team, which weighs in at more than 1,400 pounds, is that Lesner is by far the smallest of the group. Opposing these giants will be Team Angle, which will feature Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Hardcore Holly and the APA.

As good as the matches between Angle and Lesnar have been, I think we have seen enough of that for now. I hope the WWE takes this opportunity to showcase the talents of Jones and Morgan.

Also added to the Survivor Series card this week was a women's title match between champion Molly and challenger Lita. In addition, the match between Shane McMahon and Kane has been announced as an ambulance match.

AROUND THE RING: Stone Cold" Steve Austin told Sharon Osbourne last week that he thinks he has one more match in him, and it might come at WrestleMania XX next year. ... On a radio interview Macho Man" Randy Savage said that he will challenge Hulk Hogan one final time. If Hogan does not accept the offer, Savage said he will have to let the issue go. ... Jimmy Hart announced that Sting will return to the ring next week to face Jeff Jarrett. ... It sounds as though the Undertaker might lose to WWE honcho Vince McMahon in their buried- alive match at Survivor Series and make a return in a few months using his old gimmick. ... Brothers Matt and Jeff Hardy were seen backstage last week at Raw." ... The WWE soon will announce that SummerSlam 2004 will be held at SkyDome in Toronto. ... Look for Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty to get pushed to the top of the tag-team ranks in the coming weeks.
