Chicago Sun-Times: 'Wrestlemania' card looks all set

When Batista gave Evolution the thumbs-down Monday night and gave HHH the Batista Bomb through the table set up in the ring, he not only cemented his place in the "Raw" main event at "WrestleMania," he also set the rest of the "Mania" card as well.

By Batista choosing to face HHH, it means JBL will defend the WWE championship against John Cena in the "SmackDown" main event in a singles match instead of the proposed three-way dance. Now the question has to be: Are either Cena or Batista ready to carry the company on their backs as champions? Many fans think "WrestleMania 21" will be a coronation for the two future stars, but maybe the WWE would be better off to let HHH's and JBL's title runs continue.

Also now set for the show, Shawn Michaels will face Kurt Angle; Chris Benoit will battle Muhammad Hassan; The Undertaker will put his perfect "Mania" record on the line against Randy Orton; and Trish Stratus will defend the women's title against Christy Hemme. In addition, Stone Cold Steve Austin is expected to appear, and negotiations continue with Hulk Hogan and The Rock.

AROUND THE RING: Watch for the announcement that "WrestleMania 22" will be held in Chicago in 2006. ... The TNA is negotiating with Fox to do a special event on free TV right before "WrestleMania." ... Sounds more and more like the WWE will move "Raw" and "SmackDown" to the USA network, with the possibility "SmackDown" might change to a live show.
