The Double Down Diner is offering two- for-one specials, including breakfast sandwiches from 5-11 a.m., foot-long hot dogs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and single hamburgers from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. ... Harrah's Joliet is hosting a monthlong party called "Excitement Unveiled" in celebration of its recently completed improvement project, which includes an expanded pavilion, a new upscale VIP lounge called The Reserve, the Blue Bar with inset video poker machines and Ace's Diner ... The casino is partnering with the City of Joliet to present a laser and light show in the sky projected from Harrah's rooftop from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. every Thursday through Sunday during the month of July.
