WIND TELLS AND TOLLS: When Hurricane Lili hit Louisiana's coast in early October, it gave a new spelling to the sign outside the Vegas Style Casino in Lafayette. A week of stormy weather sent many Louisianians to emergency shelters, and a number of churches in the state suffered damage from flooding and high winds.
