When searching for a site for their Meet the Builders event, the Builders Association of South Florida decided to gamble on a newly opened venue in Hollywood. The gamble paid off as more than 200 members attended the "rocking" event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
"The Meet the Builders event was a huge hit as our associate members had the opportunity to spend quality time introducing their companies and services to the many builders who attended," says Toni Pacelli-Hinkley, BASF's executive vice president.
The event was more than just an opportunity to network. It was also a celebration of the organization's 60th Anniversary, complete with cake and balloons. BASF Immediate Past President Oscar Barbara introduced and thanked the evening's sponsors, who included Florida Builder Appliances; Gerson, Preston, Robinson and Co., PA; Pool Safety Barrier; Construction Network Solutions LLC and Eventz Extraordinaire.
