Real Estate Weekly: RKF inks 2,000 s/f Vegas lease

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC has completed a lease with Arelni, LLC's Vegas the Store at The Shops in Desert Passage at the Aladdin.

The gift shop signed for 2,000 square feet at the 475,000 s/f retail and entertainment center that is part of the Aladdin Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

Frank Volk, executive vice president, and Randy Aguilar, managing director, with RKF's Las Vegas office represented the tenant in the transaction. Property owner Boulevard Invest LLC was represented in house. The new store, which will sell Las Vegas-themed gifts, is expected to open in June 2005.

"Desert Passage is poised to become one of the premier retail and entertainment centers in the country," said Volk. "Boulevard Invest is making many exciting changes to Desert Passage in the coming months. " Neighboring retailers include: Galleria Arte Fino, Prana Lounge at Crustacean, Bebe, Ben & Jerry's, Fossil, Chico's and Havana Republic. Desert Passage is one of the largest retail and entertainment venues in Las Vegas.

It has more than 140 stores and eight restaurants.
