ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- HOB Entertainment, parent of the House of Blues chain, and Harrah's Operating Co. Inc. are slated to open the 10th House of Blues club-restaurant, at the Harrah's-owned Showboat, The Mardi Gras Casino, here this summer.

The largest House of Blues branch to date would include a House of Blues casino and branded poker room, a Southern-style restaurant, a 2,220-seat music hall, nightclub, a beach bar, an outdoor lounge and a private-membership club.

House of Blues opened its eighth outlet in Cleveland in November and expects to open another in San Diego this spring.
