Argosy Casino-Baton Rouge is the first casino in the Argosy Gaming Co.'s group to implement an executive management training program. Bret Manner and Demetrius Wells, both Argosy-Baton Rouge employees, will receive the internal and external training necessary to move into senior management positions at the casino.

The yearlong program consists of management training courses at Louisiana State University, casino management courses at a Nevada university, and time at Argosy's corporate office in Alton, Ill. To learn the value of each operational service position, the employees will train in each position for a specified length of time. After completing the program, Manner and Wells are guaranteed management positions.
