Casino Rouge is about four weeks away from opening a steakhouse on the river.
General Manager Dale Darrough says the fine dining establishment will serve food that surpasses the best steakhouses in town.
Darrough is saving some details for a marketing campaign, but did say that the restaurant would have 94 seats, a private dining area, a lounge, an outdoor dining area and an oyster shucking station.
Plus, the restaurant will feature music on some nights. The casino spent $2.5 million on the restaurant and in remaking its lobby.
Casino Rouge also continues to explore building an event center on the property.
