Tress Fereday has been named community affairs director at Casino Rouge. Previously Fereday worked for global communications agencies Fleishman-Hillard, Ruder Finn and Publicis Dialog. Casino Rouge has also hired a senior culinary team led by Eric Brandt. Brandt will be executive chef for the casino. Kerry Whitaker has joined Casino Rouge as executive sous chef. Brandt trained under the tutelage of his father, Charles Henri Brandt, at Chalet Brandt. Whitaker has more than a decade of cooking experience as executive chef of Embassy Suites in Baton Rouge.
