ATMs
The average automated teller machine (ATM) in a Las Vegas casino dispenses 1,000 times more cash each month than the average store ATM: $2.5 million vs. $25,000, according to Tony Hayes, managing director, financial services, for Dove Consulting Group, Boston. Hayes spoke at the Bank Administration Institute's TransPay Conference & Expo 2004. The typical Las Vegas casino has about 10 ATMs.
