Martial arts star Yuen Qiu, who plays a landlady in "Kung Fu Hustle," was arrested in an underground Hong Kong mahjong parlor and fined for illegal gambling, a newspaper reported.
Yuen was arrested March 31 along with 10 other women and two men, the Apple Daily reported Wednesday. She pleaded guilty to illegal gambling on April 1 and was fined $510, the report said.
"She knows she did something wrong," Apple Daily quoted a spokesman at Yuen's management agency as saying.
