Online Casino Sponsor Spanish Football Giants

The online gaming entertainment company 888, has announced an agreement that will see them become the official club sponsor of Spanish La Liga side Sevilla, for the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 football seasons.

The agreement serves to underline 888’s heightened activity in the sports sponsorship market having already forged successful partnerships with Middlesbrough Football Club, the World Snooker Championships and its recent deal to sponsor Toulouse Football Club. It also represents the company’s non-US customer focus, through diversified, multi-channel marketing, in light of the uncertain stance of the industry concerning the American market.

John Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of 888 said, “I am delighted to announce another European sports sponsorship so soon after our recent Toulouse agreement. Sevilla is a fantastic club in one of Europe's most exciting football Leagues and we are thrilled to be associated with them.”

The anticipated benefits in Europe would seem to complement and reinforce 888's operational strategy of multi-lingual websites and customer support which it currently maintains across 177 countries in up to 11 languages.
